An important part of our role is to provide impartial advice and advocacy on scientific matters of importance to South Australia. We would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Kaurna people, the traditional custodians whose ancestral lands on which we meet (the RSSA office is built on) today. We acknowledge the deep feelings of attachment and relationship of the Kaurna people to country, and we respect and value their past, present and ongoing connection to the land and cultural beliefs. We also acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and First Nations peoples, and recognise and respect their cultural beliefs, custodianship and ongoing connection to their homelands and country.
