The lecture has been moved to Mawson LT due to the high number of people wanting to learn about anthropologist Norman Tindale: Adelaide's Unsung Hero; Pioneer Recorder of Aboriginal Heritage and WWII Spymaster.

This event is featuring Prof Peter Sutton (SA Museum and University of Adelaide), Dr Wolfgang Haak (University of Adelaide) and Fran Zilio (SA Museum)

Don't forget to register your interest in the evening by emailing craig.williams@unisa.edu.au, with the subject heading 'Tindale evening'.

Also, there will be two UNIAD students presenting their Ph.D. in a bid to win the student prize:
  • Valerie Lawley - Investigating the potential of remote sensing for detecting and mapping vegetation condition
  • Kieren Mitchell - The phylogenetic position of the Madagascan elephant birds (Aepyornithidae) and resulting implications for the origin of paleognathous birds) - TBC
