The Society's Small Research Grants Scheme has been launched for 2015. The aim of the scheme is to promote high quality natural history research that is unlikely to be funded through larger competitive grant schemes. In 2015 the RSSA has a total of $10,000 for research grants. Each applicant may apply for funding of up to $2,500. More info available on the Information for Members page on this website.

Nominations are now open for both the Verco Medal and the Andrewarthe Medal. Nomination forms and instructions can be obtained from the 'Awards and Medals' page. Nominations close July 31 2015 for medals to be awarded in October.
Adelaide’s storytellers include: physicist, engineer, science communicator and entertainer Dr Joel Gilmore; Flinders University Professor of Animal Behaviour Sonia Kleindorfer; ABC journalist Carl Smith; and former Catalyst presenter and RiAus Director Dr Paul Willis. This event will be hosted by physicist and science communicator Dr Andrew Stephenson.
